Giallo

In Torino, Celine, an American model, is abducted by a taxi driver while en route home to meet her sister Linda, visiting at her apartment. The next morning, Linda reports that Celine is missing – the sergeant in charge directs her to F.B.I. agent Inspector Enzo Avolfi. He’s from the Special New York City Department investigating a serial-killer that kidnaps foreigners to destroy their beauty. When a Japanese woman is found at nearby a fountain, Enzo and Linda find that the girl is calling the abductor’s skin is “Yellow” in color and Linda concludes that the guy might have jaundice. They go to the Policlinic di Torino to find the killer.

Il generale della Rovere

Genoa, 1943. Grimaldi is a swindler, pretending to be a colonel in the Italian army to get money from the family of people put into jail by the Nazis. Once caught, the Gestapo makes a deal with him : he will stay alive if he impersonates the General Della Rovere, a leader of the Resistance who has just been shot by the Nazis, to be put into a political jail where he is supposed to identify another Resistance leader.

Cannibal Holocaust

The director Alan Yates and his crew, formed by Faye Daniels, Jack Anders and Mark Tomaso, head to a rain forest in Amazonas called Green Inferno to shoot a documentary about the primitive tribes of cannibals that live in the area. They vanish and the American anthropologist Professor Harold Monroe travels to the area with the experienced guide Chaco Losojos and his assistant Miguel to seek the team out. The trio is received first by the Yacumo tribe of warriors and then they approach to the wild Yamamomo that is in a permanent war against the Shamatari. They find the remains of the documentary team and their reels, and they successfully negotiate with the savages. Back in New York, Professor Monroe watches the disturbing footage and discovers the fate of the team.

Lenin: The Train

March/April 1917. the first world war is already a couple year old. A sealed train with Russian emigrants keeps on driving from Zurich through Germany and Sweden to Saint-Petersburg. The bolsheviks on the train are lead by Vladimir J. Lenin (Kingsley). There are some unpleasant collisions taking place between enthusiastic Socialists and workers concerned about the war. During the train travel time Lenin’s affair with the gracious Inessa comes to an end, and his Nadja is prepared to take him back. The triumphant arrival in Saint-Petersburg exceeds all expectations.

Norman makes his sledge, snowshoes, cabin and canoe with wood and leather from the forest and Nebaska tans the leather as did the Sekani Indians for generations. This DVD is an officially released overseas import which is compatible with all UK & European DVD players. It has the original French soundtrack & English subtitles both of which can be selected from the DVD setup menu.

The Train

Oberst von Waldheim wants to bring modern paintings, the ones the Nazis called “degenerate”, out of Paris before the Allied Forces liberate Paris. He is able to persuade his bosses to give him the train. Labiche, a French railway official is asked by the management of the museum to stop this train, but he is not willing to risk the life of his people for art. But when his old friend Boule is shot by the Germans accusing him for sabotage on the engine he starts to work against the Germans, and tries to delay the departure of the train until the Allies are arriving.
