Biography: Tom Malloy was one of the lead actors in the film Gravesend, presented by Oliver Stone. Shot for a mere $5000 on the streets of Brooklyn, the film became an indie-cult favorite. Tom has appeared on MTV, E! Channel, ABC, and NBC in promotion of the film. As a director/producer and writer, Tom co-directed, co-produced, co-wrote, and co-starred in the comedy Getting Stiffed, which has recently signed a worldwide distribution deal with Troma Films. He has also co-directed the documentary "High" Roller: The Bob Perry Story, which will begin its festival tour in 2003, and the educational video on club drugs "The Agony of Ecstasy," which has sold to over 2000 high schools! As a stand-up comic, Tom has headlined and performed at Caroline's Comedy Club, as well as other major comedy clubs along the east coast. As a dancer, Tom is a competitive West Coast Swing dancer, and has taught and competed in Manhattan, Long Island and New Jersey. As a martial artist, Tom was trained in the art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu by 3 different members of the Gracie Family. For years, he coached bouncers and high school wrestling teams on the "Most Effective Martial Art in the World." On top of all this, Tom has an excellent singing voice and is experienced as an amateur magician, a video editor, and a computer expert. hide |
