The attorney leaves the scene of the accident and strands the salesman, causing him to miss his custody hearing. During the process of the post-crash discussion, the attorney accidentally drops the papers he needs to present in court. The judge gives him until the end of the day to present the papers and thus begins a cat and mouse game between the proponents. A few questionable actions later on both parties' part, they finally start questioning their actions and their lives. | Roy Parmenter is an FBI agent in San Diego; 20 years ago his partner was killed by a Soviet spy, nicknamed Scuba, still at large. Then, a woman, Gloria Russell, who is his Chief of the People enters and in learning of what happened, decides to cover it and to make it seem what she was killed by a robber. After sanitizar the room, they are on the point license me them they forget the opener of letter, Whitney leaves from the room and take it and it does his escape but when they returned for the letter opener they discover Whitney and pursue it me them he escapes. The police officers investigate the murder and there are such inconsistencies, which it does the investigator, suspect of Seth Frank whom something is following. Frank then discovers that Whitney is a possible suspect but the only thing consists of the fact that he does not believe that Whitney is I murder. Whitney tries to leave the city but when he learns only like corrupt and amoral Richmond it is he decides to play plays of mind with him and others. Richmond, to the same time, says they that Whitney must be silenced constantly.
