| The movie begins with Brushy Bill aged Roberts who reports his history to a young historian. His claim? He affirms that he is the bandit famous Guillermo H. Bonney, alias Billy the Child, who was supposedly beaten a shot and killed by Patrick Floyd Garrett in 1881. The elder gives a very convincing history in like he and Garrett, together with Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh, Chavez and Chavez, the Doctor Skurlock, and some others led the bandit's life and avoided the law, when they were dear men. Garrett, Billy's friend, was paid by John Chisum, a king of cattle, to eliminate Billy the Child. This way, Garrett and Ashmun Upson try in a trip to find Billy the Child.
