| ELSPETH MCGILLICUDDY, an old friend of Miss Marple, is witness of a murder of strangulation in a temporary train by the window of his compartment of coach. When the Inspecteur de La civilises not very conscientious am not possible find a body along tracks and doubts that the validity of history, Miss Marple and Elspeth locates the region where the body was probably thrown of the train, the manor isolated from an old, a sour millionaire, Luther Crackenthorpe. The niece Lucy de Miss Marple is recruited to ask for a job on the domain in the hopes of locating the body. When it finds him in an ancient sarcophagus in an Egyptian of accommodation of annex and of the Etruscan treasures of art, the police and Miss Marple are made intercede. Of course somebody in the big home is involved, but who?.
