A few questionable actions later on both parties' part, they finally start questioning their actions and their lives. | The Fortune de Biscuit unfolds on an Easter week-end full of incidents in the small spring city of Holly, Mississippi. On the heels of his last game, Camille is shocked to discover that his aunt Jewel Mae " the Cookie " Orcutt (Patricia Neal) committed suicide. Terrified in thought how it will tarnish surname, she eats the note of suicide to make it resemble in a break-in. This organisation leads the police to a main suspect, Willis Richland (Charles S. Dutton), who also succeeds in being the best friend of Cookie. Although the rest of the city is persuaded Willis did not commit crime, an external investigateur (Courtney B. Vance) am not yes sure.
