Wilbur Whateley, part of a strange, inbred family who with the
help of the dreaded tome, The Necronomicon, helps unleash

| The friends Emmett, Freddy, Marie, Kevin and his reluctant friend Jessie decide to spend the Halloween night in a desolate hospital. In the meantime, younger Allan meets the old friend of his father Arlo Ray Baines and asks him to help, to find his disappeared sister Meg in the same point. Two groups correspond to each other in the department of the psychiatric institution on the presecuted third floor, and they think that they are caught in the place. Jessie has visions of the past and has discovered that the mind of Jacob, a former patient who violated a small girl and burnt the hospital tries to escape from owning her bodies which dissolve with his demon.
Die Freunde Emmett, Freddy, Marie, Kevin und seine widerwillige Freundin Jessie entscheiden sich dafür, die Halloween-Nacht in einem verlassenen Krankenhaus auszugeben. Inzwischen trifft der jüngere Allan den alten Freund seines Vaters Arlo Ray Baines und bittet ihn zu helfen, seine verschwundene Schwester Meg in demselben Punkt zu finden.
