| After the losing of her pay load the ramshackle, sinking, ocean-going-competent recovery takes dragging "starfish" in the eye of a typhoon in an attempt shelter to make repair. While it tries to find help, the dragging which is led by Robert Everton ('Donald Sutherland' (qv)) discovers a Russian science container on the Geratewohl in the eye. The team thinks that her difficulties are to an end and they are put for the life if the captain informs them about the value to rescue this obvious mind ship. However, is not persuaded to the navigator Kit Foster ('Jamie Lee Curtis' (qv)) and the chief engineer Steve Baker ('William Baldwin' (qv)) that it will be easy that. As soon as power is restored to the ship, foreign things catch in to happen, and the team one disappear enigmatically after the other. Only when the discovery of the last remaining Russian crew member, the first science officer Nadia Vinogradiya ('Joanna Pacula' (qv)) that the team understands is the enemy arranged against them not the Russians, but a little bit spiteful even more.
