| Martial arts expert Matt Hunter was one of the most promising operatives in Army intelligence until his parents were killed by terrorists, and he retired to the family's farm in Louisiana to take care of his 12-year-old sister Sara and their grandfather Jimmy. Larry Richards, a black man running for the Senate, is one of Matt's best friends. Larry has become the target of The Pentangle, a racist organization led by a man named Glastenbury, and Glastenbury doesn't want Larry to be elected. In an attempt on Larry's life during a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, The Pentangle kills one of Larry's sons. Matt lets Larry, his wife Daisy, and his other son move to the remotely located farm so they can hide from Glastenbury and the Pentangle, but the Pentangle strikes again, setting the farmhouse on fire. | Rita Rizzoli is a narcotics cop with a plethora of disguises. When a drug shipment is hijacked, the thieves don't know that the drug is unusually pure and packs of 'Fatal Beauty' begin turning up next to too many dead bodies. Mike works for the original owner of the drugs and tries to tell himself that since he does not handle the drugs, he is 'clean'. | Bobby Eroica Dupea (Jack Nicholson) comes from a well educated musicians family, and once it showed the big promise as a pianist of concert. In the nature a rough, angry individual, Bobby left his family and his musician when he could not already support the blunt one, the cloistered routine of the daily practice. He took to the way, queriendo "to see the world," and hopefully to find something or to someone suppressing his interior confusion. He has installed a small city to himself like a builder of oil, where his life consists of going to work, discussing with his dumb fiancée but affectionate Rayette (Karen Black), and playing the skittles every night with his friend Elton ("Green" Billy Bush). Not surprisingly, this routine begins to disgust Bobby and, satiates, he decides to travel to the Sound of Puget, Washington to go to see his family a visit. Leaving Rayette in a nearby motel, Bobby goes away to house and he is assembled by his family.

| Manny is "the chief" of the convicts in a prison of high safety of Alaska.
