She was born on June 14, 1954 in Merced, California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Kong made her film debut with the entertainingly tacky killer toxic mutant monster horror feature "The Being." The cast for this flick includes Jose Ferror, Ruth Buzzi, Dorothy Malone and Martin Landau, whose acting school Kong attended for a short spell. Jackie next made the hilariously stupid "Police Academy"-inspired comedy "Night Patrol" starring Linda Blair, Murray "The Unknown Comic" Langston, and Pat Paulsen. Both "The Being" and "Night Patrol" were produced by Kong's then husband Bill Osco of "Flesh Gordon" infamy; Osco also appears in "The Being" acting under the pseudonym Rexx Coltrane. Her next film was the amusingly dopey slapstick farce "The Underachievers." Jackie's last movie to date was the outrageously campy and gory "Blood Diner," which was an affectionate tongue-in-cheek tribute to the notorious Herschell Gordon Lewis splatter landmark "Blood Feast." Jackie Kong ended her career directing and producing episodes of the short-lived TV series "Karaoke Nights." hide |
