| Un'altra grande prova di attore per Robin Williams nell'ultimo film di Tom Shaydac, nel quale si racconta l'incredibile storia (vera) di Patch Adams, prima studente di medicina, poi paziente ed infine medico in un istituto per malattie mentali, convinto della necessità di dover curare le persone, prima delle malattie. Il film è ispirato alle autentiche vicende del Dr Hunter Patch Adams, fondatore del Gesundheit Institute, nel North Carolina, una clinica specializzata nella cura emotiva e psicologica del paziente, prima che medica. La storia parte dalle esperienze studentesche di Patch. Il preside della facoltà, Walcott, si oppone alle sue idee strampalate, ma l'entusiasmo di Patch contagia comunque altre persone, fra le quali l'infermiera Joletta e i compagni di corso Truman e Carin. Intanto Patch, con il suo atteggiamento divertente ed eccentrico riesce ad aprire un varco nelle paure dei più piccini. Combattendo contro la medicina ufficiale con la convinzione che "una risata è la miglior cura" il giovane rischia la propria carriera, ma riesce, alla fine, ad ottenere appoggi e validi risultati. Arriva anche a fondare l'Istituto che ancora dirige con successo e pubblica, nel 1993, un libro in cui spiega la propria esperienza e le strane ricette che prescrive, a base di travestimenti e palloncini colorati : l'importante è riuscire a stabilire un contatto di simpatia e di fiducia con i piccoli pazienti per poter ottenere positivi risultati clinici. Questa la storia. E pensiamo che non ci poteva essere altro attore in grado di vestire i panni di questo personaggio folle, ma estremamente deciso e motivato nelle proprie scelte di aiutare il prossimo. | This is in fact based story of an English socialite (Rene Russo) and her husband (Robbie Coltrane) who live in a mansion with young animals, including chimpanzees who are raised as her children. When a child discovers ailing gorilla, she decides to take care of it as well. Years later, gorilla, it is fully grown and its strength is sometimes out of control. However, the gorilla shows love for his mistress, and listens to her commands. That all changes when it is invited to view the gorilla and chimps at the Chicago World Fair. Incidentally released one of the chimps, the gorilla terrorizes fair. From this point, what has become moody and uncontrollable attacks until his mistress in bestial frenzy.

| This panoramic story of the eccentricities of the Savanna concentrates on a murder and the subsequent process of Jim Williams: me done to man, collector of art, distributor of antiquities, bon vivant and semilocked up homosexual. John Kelso a magazine reporter is in the Savanna between the beautiful architecture and rare work writing a feature in one of the famous parties of Guillermo's Christmas. He is intrigued by Williams of the beginning, but his curiosity is stung when he finds the violent, young and attractive lover of Jim, Billy. Later this night, Billy is dead, and there remains Kelso to cover the murder process. Along the way he finds the irrepressible Lady Chablis, a queen of commedienne trail, Sonny Seiler, pleaded to Williams, whose dog famous UGA is the official pet of the Buldogs of Georgia, a rare man who keeps flies tied to ropes mini in his revers and threatens to poison every day the water supply, the Married Ladies Card Club, and Minerva, a spiritualist. Between being Jim's partner, curling up against a singer of torch, meeting of every eccentric in the Savanna, participation in rituals of cemetery of midnight and help the mysteries solve the murder of surrounding Billy, Kelso has his full hands.

| Max led a banal life as a taxi driver for twelve years. Faces came and left his mirror of the hindsight: people and places he is for a long time forgotten— till this evening. Vincent is a killer of contract. When a trust of drug traffic in the open sea learns that they are about to be accused by a big federal jury, they mount an operation to identify and to kill the key witness and the last stadium is this evening. It is on the same night that Vincent has arrived— and five bodies are supposed to fall. Circumstances make Vincent kidnap Max' the taxi and Max becomes collateral— an edible person who is in the wrong place in bad time. Across night, Vincent forces Max to drive him to every allocated destination. And as L. IN. P. D. and Fr. B. I. run to intercept them, Max and Vincent's survival ways become dependent the one on other, than no would have imagined.
