| It's November 30, 1962. Native Brit George Falconer, an English professor at a Los Angeles area college, is finding it difficult to cope with life. Jim, his personal partner of sixteen years, died in a car accident eight months earlier when he was visiting with family. Jim's family were not going to tell George of the death or accident let alone allow him to attend the funeral. This day, George has decided to get his affairs in order before he will commit suicide that evening. As he routinely and fastidiously prepares for the suicide and post suicide, George reminisces about his life with Jim. But George spends this day with various people, who see a man sadder than usual and who affect his own thoughts about what he is going to do. Those people include Carlos, a Spanish immigrant/aspiring actor/gigolo recently arrived in Los Angeles; Charley, his best friend who he knew from England, she who is a drama queen of a woman who romantically desires her best friend despite his sexual orientation; and Kenny Potter, one of his students, who seems to be curious about his professor beyond English class. | By growing in the Big epoch of Depression, Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix) finds interesting for music and moves finally from his city Of Arkansas to join aviation in Germany. While there, he buys his first guitar and writes his own music and offers to Vivian. When they got married, they became established in Tennessee and with a girl, he supported the family being a seller. He discovers a man who can follow his dreams and ends up accepting a record with the boys. Shortly after it, he was on a short turn, by promoting his songs and meet the Carter already famous and nice June (Reese Witherspoon). Then as they go up to the long-term turns with June, the boys and Jerry Lee Lewis, they have this marked report which grows. But when in quits June the turn because of his behaviour, he was a drug-addict. The marriage also disintegrated and when he sees the June some years later in a valuable show, it forces in June to go sightseeing with them once again, the promising June to support her two rascals and herself. While the turn goes on, the report between June and John exaggerate its marriage more and for its first feminine aims. The June learns medicaments and to help him to overcome him. That's true love and care helped John finally to stop the usage of medicament and offer him finally in front of an audience in a show.

Mais quand le juin quitte le tour à cause de son comportement, il était un drogué. Son mariage se désintégrait aussi et quand il voit le juin quelques années plus tard à un spectacle de prix, il force le juin à faire du tourisme avec eux de nouveau, le juin prometteur pour soutenir ses deux gosses et elle-même. Pendant que le tour continue, le rapport entre le juin et John grandissent plus et son mariage à ses premières fins de femme. Le juin apprend des médicaments et l'aider à le surmonter.
