| Fargo is based on true events which occurred in Minnesota in 1987 with names changed for protecting the victims. Jerry works in the motorised concession of his stepfather and accepted in financial problems. He tries different plans to find some necessary money for a reason which is never explained really. He must be assumed that his huge misappropriation of money of concession is about to be discovered by the stepfather. When all fail of other, plans than he launched earlier for two men to kidnap his wife for ransom to be paid by his rich father (who does not seem to have the time of day as the stepson). From the instant of kidnapping, things turn badly and what was supposed to be nonviolent turns of an affair covered with blood with more blood added by minute. Jerry is very affected by the shed of blood, which drops a sheriff surrounding wall of MN who is persistent in the try to solve three murders in the jurisdiction.
