| London: The Sixties. Two down-on-their-luck actors (Withnail and Marwood) find solace in drink and other substances. Seeking respite from their uneventful lives they escape up north to Penrith to Withnail's uncle's stone cottage. Faced with no modern conveniences, a bunch of oddball locals, and a surprise visit from an amorous "Uncle Monty", their wits are tested, along with their friendship. Search keywords

| This time Zucker and Abrams are a spoofing, most notably, films of Elvis and spy's films of World War II. The stars of Valley Kilmer as the Rivers of Cut, a nice rock singer and roll of American style of the fifties. By playing in East Germany, he falls in love a nice heroine and becomes implicated with the French Resistance.
