| For a long time before the human beings appear on the planet, the dinosaurs governed the earth. On a small island out of coast, a clan of lemurs finds an egg of dinosaur, by hatching. As there is no parent, lemurs take care of the newborn baby, Aladar. Some years later, a medium meteor goes down near the island and eddy forces his inhabitants to run away in the continent. There, Aladar and the family meet other dinosaurs for the first time as well as real danger. Destruction caused by the meteor forced so here a herd of different herbivores to move to a distant valley which can give food and protection against the carnivorous predators further to afterwards. Since Aladar developed with a different understanding of the ways of the world, the way it helps others is not first accepted in the herd, but soon it is proved that reason can be better that panic.
Longtemps avant que les humains n'aient apparu sur la planète, les dinosaures ont gouverné la terre. Sur une petite île hors de côte, un clan de makis trouve un oeuf de dinosaure, en éclosant. Comme il n'y a aucun parent, les makis s'occupent du nouveau-né, Aladar. Quelques années plus tard, un météore moyen descend près de l'île et les remous forcent ses habitants à fuir au continent. Là, Aladar et sa famille rencontrent d'autres dinosaures pour la première fois aussi bien que dangers réels. La destruction provoquée par le météore a forcé aussi ici un troupeau de différents herbivores à bouger à une vallée lointaine qui peut fournir la nourriture et la protection contre les prédateurs carnivores suite à après. Depuis qu'Aladar s'est développé avec une différente compréhension des voies du monde, sa façon d'aider d'autres n'est pas acceptée d'abord dans le troupeau, mais bientôt il est prouvé que la raison peut être mieux que la panique.
