He hasn't been doing too well lately and has had to turn to loan-sharks to accomodate his failing business, as well as his expensive personal tastes. When an evil gangster-overlord buys up his note and demands a favor of Jimmy, in exchange for the interest that he can't afford, Jimmy capitulates. Jimmy is to scare someone for the gangster-overlord—really rough them up. Marty goes back then in 1885 to save him and meets his ancestors. Having found the Doctor, they were about to leave when Marty said to the Doctor who on the arrival of the reservoir of the gas of Delorean was burst, therefore they do not have petrol to run the car, who means that they have to find a way to accept the car to 88 miles per hour. They decide to try to push him with an engine. And things are perfect in part fact that Tannen, who had him in as the Doctor, has him now as Marty and outbraved him to the gunfight in the daytime which they are going to leave and the Doctor is hit with Clara Clayton, the new school teacher.

A time machine which is inserted in a Delorean helped brown with his last invention Marty. The time machine needs to work a huge amount of the power which he gets of plutonium. Now Brown got the plutonium of some Libyans who want that he builds a bomb; they find brown and shoot him, Marty comes to the Delorean and leaves, and if he reaches the speed from 88 miles per hour which activates the time machine, he is found in 1955 to cause which was the date, the brown went which was when he fancied first the time machine. Used now already the whole power of the plutonium, Marty must find a way to get it the work, he can decrease at his own time. Marty searches brown, but before he acts, he gets in his father as a teenager, and disturbs by chance the first meeting of his father of Lorraine, his future mother. Then Marty goes to see brown, and persuades him that he is of the future and him to help. But if he gets to know from the amount of the power which is necessary to drive the machine, he says Marty that it is a desperate cause the only other thing which can generate so much power, is a streak of lightning, and it is to be determined impossibly if and where they hit, but Marty has with him an old newspaper which clinches which finds out that the town bell tower is hit by the flash, they plan to pull the energy of the flash, they can drive the machine. But before they act, Marty must act as a Cupid for his parent cause it seems that because they never met they will not fall in love and marry and Marty will not exist.
