| A young woman (Juliette Lewis) moves into a new apartment that she inherited from her grandmother, who had died there in a bizarre accident. She is immediately confronted by totally bizarre neighbors and someone is obviously out to get her as rats and flies engulf her apartment. But with the array of weirdos around her, who might it be? Everyone warns her to stay away from her upstairs neighbor (Austin Pendleton), but he is the only one who shows any kindness. Supposedly the neighbor below her is an 80 year old woman, but she hammers the floor so hard when the young woman moves furniture that she breaks tiles. Another neighbor (Shelley Duvall) seems kind enough to begin with, but later seems more interfering and threatening. Also her weatherman boy friend (William Hurt) can't be ruled out. Contrary to his desire for her to move in with him, she moved into their apartment. Picture builds suspensefully throughout the beginning, but slips into the expected threatened woman film at its culmination. Search keywords

| Jimmie Shannon is a man who has had dozens of girlfriends and they all break up with him cause he is unwilling to commit. But when he meets Anne, he starts to loosen up a but is still a little hesitant. Even his blustery grandfather, who is concerned of the fate of the Shannon line, is nagging him to get married and have children. So he decides to take that step but he is so nervous that he botches the proposal. Anne is disappointed in him. When his grandfather dies and the will is read, they discover that he has left Jimmie 100 million but only if he gets married by his 30th birthday which is the next day. Jimmie then decides to propose to Anne again and this time does a little better but when Anne questions his eagerness and if he truly wants to marry him he freezes, she then gets on a plane for Greece. She gets off the plane at the last minute and goes to visit her parents. Jimmie then learns that if he doesn't get the inheritance which includes the business, a company that has a reputation of buying a business and then stripping it for all that it is worth and then laying off the employees, will buy it and lay off all of the employees. Jimmie is adivised to find someone else to marry so he goes through his black book and proceeds to ask every girl he has dated to marry him only some of them are still stinging from his breaking up with them, others think that it's a travesty what he is proposing, or he just continues to propose badly. | In Midwest of the United States, the darlings Drew (Martin Henderson) and Julia (the piper Perabo) get workmanship him in the secondary school. | The partner (Will Ferrell) was a baby in an orphan-asylum who traveled from stowaway in the Saint's sack and ended in the North Pole. Later, when an adult human being who turned out to be raised by elves, Saint allows he to go to New York City to find his father of birth, Walter Hobbs (James Caan). Hobbs, to the naughty list of Saint to be a merciless pull, had not even idea that the Partner even was born. The partner, meanwhile, experiences the pleasures of New York City (and human culture) when only one elf can. When Walter's relation with the Partner interferes with his work, he is forced to revalue his priorities.
